Our Work

Our Work

Strategic litigation

To ensure State’s respect of the fundamental rights of household and farm employees under foreign worker status in Canada and eventually abroad, it is necessary to challenge the legality of the state’s authority to implement employer-tying measures.

Research

The RHFW conducts legal and empirical research to advance society’s understanding of the exercise and main obstacles to fundamental rights.

Advocacy-education and reference services

The RHFW collaborates with partners and coalitions to educate – at all levels – on the rights of household and farm workers under foreign worker status.
